My name is Ilse Colby and I currently live and work in Pacific Grove, CA. I am grateful to have worked with companies, brands and individuals I genuinely believe in and admire and to have learned so much in the process. Over the years, I've learned to ask questions, be responsible for the answers, and use them to fuel good, smart communication design. That's the kind of design I'm most excited to create; visually beautiful, of course, but also hard-working, purposeful and effective. Whether it's logo and branding, the form and function of beautiful packaging, designing an in-store experience or anything else we can cook up, I'd love to be a part of it!

My people, the kiddo, travel big and small, change, equality, lakes and oceans, our planet, taking care of each other,  animals including but not limited to my dog Trout, my cat Oscar, and monkeys, color, children's books, homemade costumes, arts & crafts, road trips, riding around in our old car, cooking, eating, cheese, a perfect sidecar, the quest for the perfect sidecar, good music as well as good bad music, California, Minnesota & Maine, going to the mailbox, finding pennies, crafts of all kinds, and anything bread-like.
